Historic Hotel: Showcasing the Property and the Region
Wells is nearly 500 miles north-east from Vancouver and while a boom town in its heyday, is now building a new identity as a artisan enclave and a place where people truly enjoy small town living.

The Wells Hotel owner wanted to provide a solid web experience for guests by providing a good sense of both the lodgings and of the historic region. The hotel is comfortable and quaint with a little-known secret: The pub offers more than 96 single-malt scotches, carefully curated by its owner.

Because we had access to strong photographs taken by Lynn Stevens, we immediately saw the opportunity to build a truly image-driven website. Thus, the site entertains while providing guests with the fun facts and information and the hand-coded site is easily updated as needed.

Mark Norman, the owner of the hotel remarks that his bookings have been very steady and successful throughout the year. Since the region is primarily known for its summer-based tourism, this is a pleasant surprise indeed.
